02 / LANGUAGES
Greek first. Fluent in more.
Sayvento is built for people who write in Greek and English, often in the same sentence. The whole app is available in Greek, and dictation reaches well beyond two languages.
- Greek + English, the default, detects both languages even when you mix them.
- Any language detects other spoken languages automatically.
- Or choose one of 28 dictation languages, the most reliable option if you only speak one. Selected text can be translated into any of them.
- Settings → System → Interface language: Same as Windows, Ελληνικά or English. It is separate from the dictation language.

A good thought deserves more than one chance. History keeps your transcripts on your computer, ready to search, review and use again.
- Compare the original with the cleaned-up result.
- See whether each dictation was pasted, copied or needs action.
- Copy, edit or delete a transcript, or paste it again while Sayvento still has a safe target.
- Export History as Markdown or CSV.

The names that matter to you.
People, projects, products and specialist terms. Give Sayvento the spellings you want to keep, including when you switch between Greek and English.
- Build your own dictionary of names and terms.
- Review the corrections Sayvento suggests as Learned words.
- Keep a useful correction or undo it. You stay in control.

Your calendar link. A familiar sign-off. The reply you type every day. Save it once and give it a spoken trigger.
- Choose a trigger that is easy to remember.
- Say it as a complete phrase during dictation.
- Sayvento expands it after transcription, before pasting.

An email needs room to breathe. A chat can get to the point. Optional cleanup and destination formatting shape your words for where they are going.
- Destination format is Automatic by default: paragraphs and numbered lists where the destination supports them.
- Built-in presets for Outlook, Teams, WhatsApp and ChatGPT.
- Add your own app styles and writing instructions.

Say what to change.
Select text and say it in your own words: “make it friendlier”, “translate it to Turkish”. Quick built-in commands make text shorter, an email or bullet points.
Draft before you paste.
A notes panel from the floating bar or the tray. While it is open, dictation goes there instead of another app. Its text is kept in memory only.
Offline? Try again.
If a transcription fails, the recording stays in memory for 10 minutes. Retry from the floating bar or the tray. It is never written to disk.
Your clipboard, put back.
Restore clipboard after paste is on by default: what you had copied comes back after a successful paste.
No waiting on polish.
Optional AI cleanup has a time limit. If it runs long, your transcript is pasted without it.
Keys that suit you.
Esc cancels a recording. Use F1–F24 on their own, like holding F8 to talk. Optional Command and Translate shortcuts.
Empty recordings, discarded.
If a local check finds only silence or steady noise, the recording is discarded with the error “No usable audio detected”. Nothing is sent to AI, pasted or saved.
Take your words along.
Export and import your Dictionary, Snippets, App styles and Learned words. Import only adds what is missing.
