Here’s how the Sayvento app handles your data.

On your Windows computer

Sayvento keeps your History, Dictionary, Snippets and Learned words locally in your Windows profile. History can be reviewed and deleted in the app. If you copy or paste a transcript, that text also enters the Windows clipboard or the destination app. With Restore clipboard after paste turned on (the default), what you had copied is put back after a successful paste.

Scratchpad text is kept in memory only and is gone when you quit Sayvento or switch account. Backup and History export files are saved only where you choose; they contain your own words, so keep them private.

Recording and cloud processing

Recording starts when you use the dictation controls or your configured shortcut. Audio is held temporarily while recording and processing; Sayvento does not save audio recordings as a history. If a transcription fails, for example while you are offline, the latest recording is kept in memory for up to 10 minutes so you can retry. It is never written to disk and is discarded when you sign out or quit. Transcription sends audio to the configured cloud provider. Optional cleanup sends text and relevant writing context for processing.

Cloud processing requires internet access. Releasing audio locally does not determine a cloud provider’s retention policy. Avoid dictating information you are not permitted to send to the configured provider.

Accounts and usage

The online service uses Supabase for authentication and account data, including your email, workspace, plan and usage counters. These records support access control and Free plan limits. Managed transcription and cleanup are handled by server functions, so provider credentials stay on the server.

Diagnostics and performance

The app includes diagnostics for investigating reliability and processing times. The performance telemetry format excludes transcript text, raw audio and secret values. Diagnostic exports should still be reviewed before you share them with the support team.

This website

The site does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics. Signing in stores your authentication session in this browser so your account can stay signed in. The customer account and Admin use separate browser session storage. Hosting and service providers may keep operational access logs.

Payments

When billing is available for your account, payment details are handled on Stripe’s hosted pages. This website does not collect card numbers. Creating a Free account does not start a paid subscription.

Contact hello@sayvento.com about account access or deletion. Deleting local history and deleting online account records are separate actions.
